Searching for the best tutor, the best method, the coolest pieces. Searching for anything to keep my students engaged and enthusiastic about learning piano.
You see, I was that little kid who played by ear and struggled with the traditional read/play approach. It's a miracle I survived those early years! I could easily have been a member of the "I quit piano" brigade!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a Student Practice Buddy last?
Each student has 12-month access to all the pieces, sheet music and resources for one level. Most students progress enough over the year to move up to the next level.
What if my student needs to move up to the next level early?
We’ve got you covered! Simply complete the “Change Student Pass” form in The Studio hub and we'll swap it over at no cost.
What happens next year? Do we just get the 10 x Practice Buddies in the first year?
At each year's anniversary, your existing students' Practice Buddies will be renewed. We so believe in this style of teaching; we don't want anything to stand in the way of your piano teaching success.
How much do I charge my students for Practice Buddy?
You can charge your students whatever you decide is perfect for you. Many teachers join the studio and sign up 10 of their students straight away and charge the special Studio price of $50US, $62 AU, £40/ pass.
Other teachers prefer to choose a couple of students as their guinea pigs and explain that they are trying out this new style teaching with them. There are lots of fun resources including a Student Practice Buddy to use at home. You would like to provide this extra Practice Buddy resource at no charge during your experimentation period because they are helping you out. Once this time is over and students want to continue, they will need to pay for Practice Buddy.
What if I need more Practice Buddy passes?
Studio Member's students can purchase the passes at the special price of $50US, $62 AU, £40 GBP. Or you can purchase them and sell them to students like any other book or resource.
Student Passes are valued at $149.
Is the sheet music included?
Yes, it's free, ready to print (A4 and US Letter) for hundreds of pieces and activities in Practice Buddy that we either own or have copyright approval for.
What if I get lost and need some help?
The portal is easy to navigate but we are here for you! Just reach out to us by email or book a coaching call in The Studio portal and we'll help you out.
Are the masterclasses recorded?
Yes! If you can't attend the masterclass or would like to replay any sessions, there is a library of masterclasses that have been recorded and posted in the Members-only Facebook group.
How many pieces in a level?
There are approximately 30 - 50 pieces per level.
What if I can't come to masterclass?
We hold them at two different times, so no matter where you live, you can join us live. And if you can't make it, you can watch the replay.
