An internationally recognised leader in music education, Tim Topham has been helping to reshape and recharge the often traditional landscape of instrumental music education since founding TopMusicCo in 2010.

Tim’s vision of a more creative, modern and integrated approach to music teaching has seen him speak on stages from the USA to UK and Australia, including the 2024 keynote to the Music Teachers’ National Association of America.

Tim is the author of No Book Beginners, a leading text demonstrating the many benefits of delaying reading in beginner piano teaching. Tim holds a Bachelor of Music, a Diploma of Education and a Master of Business Administration in Educational Leadership. He also holds a Diploma in Piano Performance (AMusA) with Distinction.

As well as inspiring the next generation of music makers, Paul is a regular presenter at conferences and workshops worldwide. Paul's passion is sharing his expertise and inspiring piano teachers worldwide to incorporate movement, singing, and off-the-bench activities to keep more students learning music and playing for life.

Paul is the Director of Education for Forte School of Music & Piano Teaching Success. In his role, he works with teachers to assist them in building successful music schools and studios. Forte School of Music now has over 8,000 students across USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

He is working towards his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, Sensory-motor Integration and its effect on Piano Pedagogy.
